Language courses

Course starts every Monday and is for all language levels.

General English - OHC Miami

English 16 - 99 years old

You will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains, skills and competencies appropriate to your level of ability.

19 lessons per week can only be taken while holding a Tourist Visa.
25 and 30 lessons per week-courses can only be taken while holding an F-1 Study Visa.

Objectives: This programme of study is intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. You will improve your language skills and also enhance your inter-cultural communication.

Intensive English course - OHC Miami

English 16 - 99 years old

Students join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains and competencies appropriate to their level of ability.

This course can only be taken while holding an F-1 Study Visa.

Objectives: This programme of study is intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context and to make maximum language gains during their time with us. Students will improve their language skills and consider factors affecting inter-cultural communication. Participants will also have the opportunity to establish relationships and share points of view with international colleagues.

Accommodations

Usually the check-in is one or two days before the start of the course, and check out on the day of graduation. You can change the dates in the form.

Homestay 16 - 99 years old

OHC Miami works with friendly and welcoming families who provide a
wonderful homestay experience. Most of our families are located nearby the beach, approximately 15-minutes walking distance from the school and some families are 25-minutes by public transportation.

Staying with an American family is an excellent way to learn about American culture and improve your English.
