At OHC, we think learning and studying English should be easy, fun and rewarding!

Our students seem to agree with us since we started teaching in 1974 and have been growing ever since. Covering 3 Continents, OHC English Centres are now one of the most expansive, accredited deliverers of English Language Courses and Programmes in world. We offer exciting central city and town locations in England, America, Canada and Australia which makes it easier for you to enjoy exploring and studying in your chosen city or town.

All our friendly OHC teachers are professional and qualified in delivering our accredited English Courses and Programmes to a wide range of nationalities. 

Our English Programs have a maximum class size of 16 and include regular teacher guidance, feedback and communication. There is also a dynamic and busy social programme that enables our students to practise their English at every opportunity, and make new friends. Students can start most courses any Monday( excluding public holidays) studying from one week to a whole academic year and OHC students can transfer between locations where available.

Course starts every Monday and is for all language levels.

Morning General English OHC

English 16 - 99 years old


You will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains, skills and competencies appropriate to your level of ability.

Objectives: This programme of study is intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. You will improve your language skills and also enhance your inter-cultural communication.

General English Plus OHC

English 16 - 99 years old


You will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains and competencies appropriate to your level of ability with additional work on fluency and pronunciation.

Objectives: This programme of study is intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. You will improve their language skills and consider factors affecting inter-cultural communication with special emphasis on fluent spoken English and pronunciation, giving you the opportunity to establish relationships and share points of view with international colleagues.

OHC Morning IELTS preparation course

English 16 - 99 years old


Join multi-national language classes, covering key language domains and competencies required for the IELTS examination.

Objectives: This programme of study is intended to improve your language skills for the IELTS examination and to develop examination techniques to ensure that you get the best result you can. Complete regular ‘mock’ examinations and receive feedback on your performance to best help you achieve your goals.

Accommodations

Usually the check-in is one or two days before the start of the course, and check out on the day of graduation. You can change the dates in the form.

I do not need accommodation

Homestay accommodation, half board , zone 2

Homestay 16 - 99 years old


Make the most of your stay in London with carefully selected Homestay accommodation. You will feel at home and be able to practise your English in friendly surroundings. You will have your own room, and you can choose between 3 meal options: self-catering (you cook for yourself), breakfast only, or breakfast and dinner.

Homestay in London Zones 2 - 5 is provided through an accommodation agency.

Shared rooms are only available if you are coming with another person at the same time and leaving at the same time. Oxford House College is in Zone 1.

Hosts will provide 2 loads of washing per week for students. Linen and towels are provided by the host and are changed weekly.

All accommodation is generally Sunday to Sunday.

All students under 18 years must to be placed with a half board option. Students cannot use the kitchen.
