This is the residential area of the city. It is close to the city centre, but is much quieter than the latter. If you don't like the hustle and bustle of life in the neighbourhoods and prefer the quiet, this is the neighbourhood to choose. However, you will need to budget more than other areas of Glasgow for an overnight stay in a hotel or room rental.
It's the romantic part of Glasgow. There are many restaurants, pubs and beautiful gardens. Although this area is not the most popular area of the city, it is the most economical in terms of budget to sleep in and will therefore satisfy even the smallest budgets!
For a language course in Glasgow, you can take the train or a flight from the French capital. Major airlines such as Air France do not have direct flights from Paris to Glasgow. Indeed, their routes make a stopover in the city of Edinburgh. On the other hand, low-cost airlines like EasyJet offer direct flights from Paris to Glasgow for an affordable price of around 100 euros, if you book your plane ticket in advance!
