The English Studio London opened in 1997 to help international students realize their dream of learning English. With more than 20 years of experience, this school has welcomed more than 60,000 students from around the world. The school is accredited by the British Council and is a member of the English UK Association.
The English Studio London is a group of two schools, the headquarter of the company is located in Dublin, Ireland. English Studio London is located in Holborn area 1 in central London, just a 1-minute walk from Holborn Underground Station. You will find places to visit such as the Thames, the London Transport Museum or Trafalgar Square. In addition, the area has restaurants, cafes, bars, pharmacies, shops, among many other places where you can have fun and have a good time with your colleagues.

Available for all English levels from complete beginner through to advanced, our General English courses are always the most popular with students.

- Prepare for a new career – with focus on writing and speaking skills projects include improving CVs and learning interview skills.
- Internationally recognised qualification – course content is designed to prepare students who want to take the Cambridge ESOL Business English Certificate exam.

- Improve key English skills – the course focuses on developing your academic reading and writing skills and increasing your confidence.
- Gain practical experience – enhance your practical presentation skills, with special emphasis on spoken accuracy and fluency.
- Flexible timetable to fit your schedule – choose to study in the morning or afternoon for as many weeks as you need.
- Accredited courses – our IELTS exam preparation course is accredited by the British Council (in London) and ACELS (in Dublin) providing high quality instruction from our helpful and friendly teachers.
Maximum Class Size – 22 students
Minimum Age – 16
Minimum Entry Level – Intermediate (B1)
Lessons – 3 hour lesson per day with 15 minute break, in the morning or afternoon (see Course Timetable for details).

Working with British Council registered partners they have placed thousands of students with hosts all over the city. Hosts are recruited, trained and supported by our highly-trusted partners to ensure excellent service levels are delivered to each and every student.
Their network of hosts are located in London zones 2 , and where you are located is entirely your choice! They will be there each step of the way to offer guidance in making the right decision. Students are able to choose the right combination of services to best fit their needs — offering self-catering through to half-board meal plans and either single or twin rooms.
It takes an average of 30 to 40 minutes by public transit to get to school with a host family in Zone 2.
