Every two weeks, events for students over the age of 18 are also organised on presentation of the ID card.

Language courses

Course starts every Monday and is for all language levels.

General English courses London

English 16 - 99 years old

You can study at these levels: A1-0 (Beginner), A1 (Elementary), A2 (Pre-Intermediate), B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper-Intermediate) and C1 (Advanced).

You will need to take an online test to assess your level, and you will also complete a Needs Analysis form.

You can study in the morning (09.00 – 12.00), midday (12.30 – 15.30), afternoon (16.00 – 19.00) or in the evening (19:10-21:10).

Intensive English Course in London

English 16 - 99 years old

The intensive English course takes place every day from Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day. Students can choose between the morning course from 9 am to 3.30pm and the afternoon course from 12.30pm to 7pm. 
The course is suitable for those students who want to study as much as possible in a short period of time. 

*There is a 15 minute break in each lesson so the number of hours taught per week is 27.5 hours per week.

IELTS Exam Preparation Courses

English 16 - 99 years old

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores are accepted by over 9,000 organisations worldwide, including universities, employers, immigration authorities and professional bodies.

This course focuses on the skills you need to pass the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam. The course is structured to improve your proficiency in all four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Monitoring and assessment, including practice exam papers, will help prepare you and build your confidence.

The school is open Monday to Saturday. You can choose to study during the week or on Saturdays or a combination of both. All our courses are taught by qualified and friendly teachers and accredited by the British Council.

Accommodations

Usually the check-in is one or two days before the start of the course, and check out on the day of graduation. You can change the dates in the form.

Our Kings Cross student accommodation is a modern student living space located minutes from St Pancras International station, and only a short commute from Camden and Holborn. It is located 20 minutes by metro from the school.

Bronze Studio rooms are approximately 16 SQM in size. These student rooms come with compact double beds, en suite bathrooms, study area, storage space and a private kitchenette. The 'plus' rooms have all been refurbished recently. The rooms include a compact double bed, a desk, a chair, a wardrobe, a drawer unit and a pinboard. The en suite bathrooms contain a shower, toilet and sink. The private kitchenettes have a 2 ring hob, a microwave, a sink and a fridge with freezer compartment.

Our homestay provider agencies are registered with the British Council.

At Speak Up London we do our best to ensure that your accommodation is of the highest standard and conforms to British Council regulations. We offer a variety of options depending on your requirements and budget.
When you book your homestay with the school, you will be given several options to choose from depending on the season and availability. We do our best to place students on direct transport routes, such as buses that stop directly outside the School.  We send their profiles to you and let you choose the one you like best.
The profile includes pictures of the rooms, details about where the nearest station is and much more.
Once you are happy with your British home, we confirm the booking and send you all the details you need about getting to and from school.

We want our students to be happy and hope that you will like the accommodation we have arranged for you. Our Welfare Officer is available throughout the day and is on hand to help with any queries that students may have. All students are given an emergency number so that they can contact the school or the homestay at any time.
