Our General English course aims to improve your ability to use English by developing your core language skills – speaking, listening, writing and reading. We aim to help increase your overall general knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary, developing your skills for international communication.

Our IELTS preparation course aims to improve your English language skills in order to prepare you for the IELTS exam, setting you up for success when applying to a UK university. The IELTS exam is an English language test for study, migration, or work.

The IELTS course is ideal if you are trying to improve your English language skills to help increase your chances of passes your IELTS exam ahead of going to university. Led by experienced teachers with an in-depth knowledge of the exam, our IELTS preparation course will help you to master key English language skills needed for the test.

Accommodations

Usually the check-in is one or two days before the start of the course, and check out on the day of graduation. You can change the dates in the form.

Homestay Accommodation - NCGL

Homestay 16 - 99 years old

By choosing to live at a homestay, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in English culture, spending time with your hosts and practising English outside of the classroom.

You’ll live in a home with a local host and up to three other students. Your host may be a single person or a couple with or without children, and our host’s age, nationality, and background may vary, but we make sure that the main language spoken in the house is English.

You will have access to common areas such as the kitchen and living room. You will share the bathroom. Your bedroom will have a bed and some storage space for your clothes. A desk and chair will be also be available within the house. Please ensure you are clean and tidy and respect your host’s space.

Unite Moorfields Residence - NCGL

What can you expect?

  • Private bedroom furnished with bed, clothes storage, desk and chair & private bathroom with wash basin, WC and shower.
  • Kitchen equipped with cookers, fridges and utensils & living room with TV (kitchen and living room are shared among 6 students).
  • Bed linen and kitchen utensils are provided—Please bring own towels!
  • You are responsible for cleaning your own bedroom and bathroom and keeping the communal areas tidy.
  • Laundry service on site at an additional cost (approximately £6.00 for a wash and dry).
