Facilities including a computer lab with internet access, a library of self-study materials and a student lounge contribute to making LSI Vancouver a comfortable and welcoming environment in which to study English. We offer TOEFL and Cambridge Examination (CAE) preparation courses, as well as more general ESL programmes.

General language courses at LSI provide language training in a group environment. These programmes will improve all areas of your language skills. You can also choose to specialise in a number of different areas.

IELTS/TOEFL preparation course - LSI Vancouver

English 16 - 99 years old

The IELTS and TOEFL tests are internationally recognised in the English speaking world, highly regarded by companies and a requirement for enrolment at colleges and universities in many English speaking countries except in Canada and the USA. We offer preparation courses for this examination as part of an LSI Intensive 30 course.

  • 20 lessons per week on grammar and language skills
  • 10 lessons per week focus on study skills and exam practice

Our homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the Canadian culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Vancouver.

• Welcoming and friendly atmosphere
• Carefully selected by our Accommodation Officers and visited on a regular basis
• Choice of single rooms (or double rooms if two students book for the same time period) with bed and breakfast or half-board
• All bed linen and towels provided
• Good and reliable transport links - average travelling distance 45 – 60 minutes by public transportation
