Our language school is located in the very heart of San Diego, with restaurants, shops and transport links all nearby. The famous San Diego Zoo, the Symphony Hall and San Diego Bay are all within easy walking distance. We offer TOEFL and Cambridge Examination preparation courses, among our many different English programmes. The school itself is housed in a modern building, and you will benefit from facilities including a computer room with free internet access while you study English.

General language courses at LSI provide language training in a group environment. These programmes will improve all areas of your language skills. You can also choose to specialise in a number of different areas.

The IELTS, TOEIC and TOEFL tests are internationally recognised in the English speaking world, highly regarded by companies and a requirement for enrolment at colleges and universities in many English speaking countries like in Canada and the USA. We offer preparation courses for this examination as part of an LSI Intensive 30 course.

  • 20 lessons per week on grammar and language skills
  • 10 lessons per week focus on study skills and exam practice

Our homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the American culture and California life in a comfortable setting.
