Course starts every Monday and is for all language levels.

General English courses in Valletta

English 18 - 99 years old

The General English course will boost your confidence to communicate in English effectively, both with native and non-native English speakers, in the classroom room environment as well as in real life situations.

Your teacher will use a course book and supplement lessons with authentic material and meaningful communicative activities.

Course Outcome
  • You will become more fluent and accurate when using the English language;
  • You will be able to communicate with native and non-native speakers in English in a variety of different contexts;
  • You will acquire improved English language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking);
  • You will build up your vocabulary further, improve your pronunciation and have an increased understanding of English grammar;
  • You will be more confident and independent both as a learner and as a user of the language;
  • You will make new friends from all over the world.

Morning Lessons: 09.00 to 10.30, 11.00 to 12.30

English Plus: General English courses + group conversation

English 18 - 99 years old

The English Plus course includes 10 group conversation lessons as an extension to the 20 lesson General English course.

During these additional afternoon lessons you will engage in communicative speaking activities aimed at improving your speaking fluency and sharpening your listening abilities.

This course is ideal for students whose level of English is strong elementary (A2) or higher.

Lesson duration: 45 minutes
Morning Lessons: 09.00 to 10.30, 11.00 to 12.30 
Afternoon Lessons: 13.00 to 14.30 or 14.45 to 16.15

Combination General English + one-to-one lessons

English 18 - 99 years old

These courses consist of 20 General English group lessons and an additional 5 or 10 afternoon one-to-one lessons. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student studying in Malta this course will give you more confidence and independence when speaking English.

In addition to the General English course, which will help you improve your language skills and boost your confidence to communicate in English effectively, the afternoon one-to-one lessons will provide you with the opportunity to focus on any areas of the language that need strengthening.

This course is available at all levels from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C1).

Accommodations

Usually the check-in is one or two days before the start of the course, and check out on the day of graduation. You can change the dates in the form.

Host Family accommodation - Easy Languages

Homestay 16 - 99 years old

Important: Accommodation availability is subject to change without notice and it is out of Worddy's ability to know its availability on real time. Only the school can confirm once a booking has been received.

The school has a list of host families who have been hosting their students for a number of years and enjoy their trust. Living with a host family, you will enjoy traditional Maltese hospitality while practising your newly acquired English language skills with the family members and the other students living with you.

All their host families are registered with the Malta Tourism Authority, which regulates this type of accommodation. On top of this, their staff regularly inspect them to ensure that standards are maintained.

They offer different accommodation options with these families:
  • single or shared room
  • half board or full board.

You can also take supplements (via the booking form):
  • Private bathroom supplement: 60 €/week
  • Special diet supplement (vegan, vegetarian, halal...): 50 €/week
