ACE Business Group

English 16 - 99 years old

The goal of the ACE Business group course is to combine general English skills (like those taught in the General Group 20 and Group 30 courses) with specific, business- and finance-related topics, vocabulary and lexical items and structures, along with the option of preparing for the Cambridge ICFE and BEC examinations.

The following are just some of the areas in which you can develop your skills with the Business English Course:
  1. Language: Reading & comprehension, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation;
  2. Business and finance terminology, report writing and presentation skills;
  3. Business and marketing terminology, advertising and sales-pitch presentation skills;
  4. Optional preparation for Cambridge ICFE and BEC exams.

Junior English Courses

English 13 - 17 years old Junior

The ACE General English courses for Juniors include expert English language training. These English courses for juniors and courses for teens come as a comprehensive package all perfectly designed for young students looking to have a fun time while learning English in Malta.

Specially designed lessons for younger learners with an experienced teacher who knows exactly how to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that encourages learning, play, interaction and teamwork through English. 

Our junior-friendly lessons are carefully designed to be level-, age- and learning-style- appropriate. Interaction through video clips, music, and games make lessons less formal and makes it easier for juniors and teens to develop skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking in English while being absorbed in engaging and enjoyable activities.

Minimum booking is 6 weeks - exam fee not included in course price. IELTS preparation involves understanding the test format, how it is marked and then making a plan to achieve your desired score. In order to do this, you will need to improve your English, practice test skills and join a preparation course to check your progress before you register for the test.

The only way to learn and improve English is to practice, and there is no better way than to practice every day and wherever possible, especially at home. ACE offers fully furnished and independent roommate apartments where you can feel at home and practice your English with your new classmates / roommates / friends. This type of accommodation is ideal for students who wish to share their learning and living experience with other international students, make new friends and be immersed in language learning opportunities both at school and outside.

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we provide winter heaters and fans in the summer. In addition, our apartments are fully cleaned once a week, including the replacement of sheets and towels. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable and relaxing home during your stay in Malta, so that you can continue learning 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and have a truly immersive and cooperative learning experience.

We have a dedicated member of staff who looks after our students and places them with a warm and welcoming family. Host family accommodation options can vary according to your requirements, but the crucial advantages and benefits of this type of accommodation include:

Cancellation Policies

We apply the booking and cancellation conditions of the partner school. Below is an excerpt from the cancellation conditions.

Students may postpone their booking start date by giving the School a minimum of 14 days’ notice. The School will not give refunds once a student has started their course. In certain cases, the School may consider offering credit for future courses.

Cancellation of a booking must be received in writing and is subject to the following cancellation fees:

  • More than 14 days before the start of the course: €100.00 Non-Refundable Deposit + €45.00 Registration Fee + Visa Administration Fee (where applicable)
  • Less than 14 days before the start of the course: 1 week’s course + 1 week’s accommodation (where applicable) + Registration Fee + Accommodation Reservation Fee + Visa Administration Fee (where applicable).

No refunds on any course or accommodation will be provided if student’s study visa is rejected / revoked / cancelled due to the student’s lack of the minimum lesson attendance as is required by Malta Immigration Office
